Single Review: Djana Gabrielle – A Love Song

Djana Gabrielle 'A Love Song' Artwork

Djana Gabrielle is an incredibly talented indie/folk musician with a voice that could sing the birds from the trees, don’t believe me? Think I’m exaggerating? Check out the track below and tell me different. If you somehow still need convincing, check out this Interview I did with the Cameroonian vocalist and singer-songwriter and also check out some of these other reviews I’ve done of her music, by clicking here and here.

A Love Song (February) Opens with Djana’s tremendously melodic voice, it’s layered really well to create this nice undercurrent beneath the main vocals. I’ve previously mentioned that Djana’s voice is soothing, and this track gives new meaning to the word. But it’s not sleepy either, instead you feel energised and hopeful.

So that’s what I thought of ‘A Love Song’ by Djana Gabrielle and if you want to hear those tracks for yourself then follow this link to her Bandcamp. And make sure and follow her on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with her.
