Single Review: Start Static – Take Your Place In Line

Start Static 'Take Your Place In Line' Artwork

Start Static are a four piece Indie Rock outfit from Glasgow made up of John on Vocals, Stephen Tap on Guitar, Chris Kay on Bass and Michael on Drums. Today I’m going to be reviewing their single ‘Take Your Place In Line’ which you can check out below.

‘Take Your Place In Line’ opens with an excellent little riff, that rises and falls and goes perfectly with the vocals, this is a tune that would fill up a room and really get people singing along. So I look forward to a chance to hear them play it live. It just has this energy to it, it’s kind of offbeat but not in the bad way, more like it just catches you and doesn’t let you go till you’ve given in to the drive and energy of the track. But I know I’m certainly in Line now to get myself a copy and so should you be.

So that’s what I thought of Start Static’s single ‘Take Your Place In Life’ and if you want to check that out for yourself then go to Spotify. And if you want to keep up to date with the band then check them out on Facebook and Twitter.
